The meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee Alexander Lashin and the delegation of the Forensic Expert Centre of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation headed by Acting Director of the Centre Mikhail Ignashkin was held today. The meeting was held within the framework of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Examination: Theory and Practice in the Modern World”.

The impetus for the expansion of cooperation between the State Committee and the Forensic Expert Centre of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation was the signing of the Agreement on cooperation between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in 2022. Representatives of the State Committee paid a working visit to the Investigative Committee at the end of last year, and today the State Committee is hosting Russian colleagues.

During the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed. Russian colleagues were familiarized with the main activities of the State Committee, equipment and technical facilities of some laboratories, and also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activity of the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Committee.
