The State Forensic Examination Committee and the Forensic Centre of the Montenegrin Police Department signed an Agreement on cooperation 19 november 2019

Today the visit of the delegation of the Forensic Centre of the Montenegrin Police to the State Forensic Examination Committee ends.

This is the first visit of a representative of the Forensic Centre of the Montenegro to the State Committee. Yesterday, on November 18, during the official meeting the Director of the Forensic Centre of the Montenegro Alexander Ivanovich and the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Sergei Evmenenko signed an Agreement on cooperation between two agencies.

In accordance with the provisions of the Agreement, the sides will cooperate in the field of scientific work on the problems of forensic science activity; jointly develop methods and techniques, exchange data in the area of reference activities. Experts of two agencies will cooperate in the field of training, retraining and advanced training in the field of forensic examination, exchange specialists for internships.

In the framework of the visit the delegation visited drug examination laboratories, examination of materials, substances and items as well as chemical studies of substances of unknown nature, explosion and fire- technical examinations, documents, banknotes and handwriting examination laboratories, computer and technical examination laboratories. The head of the foreign agency got acquainted with the Belarusian experience in forensic medical examinations, as well as the organization of ballistic examinations and ballistic records. During the visit, experts of the State Committee demonstrated the technical equipment of the laboratories, talked about solved expert tasks.

The sides discussed the most promising areas of cooperation, especially the foreign side is interested in training their specialist in the field of computer-technical examinations. Preliminary agreements were also reached on the visit of Belarusian experts to the Forensic Centre of the Montenegro in March – April 2020.
