The State Forensic Examination Committee has signed the Agreement on Cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia 1 june 2022

On May 24, 2022 the delegation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia headed by the Minister visited the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

Warm and friendly relations have historically developed between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia. The Republic of Armenia has always been and will be a strategical partner for our country, and cooperation in many areas of activity is strong and reliable.

Today the list of areas in which the two countries cooperate has been supplemented by another one – forensic expert. The Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus Alexey Volkov and the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Karen Andreasyan signed the Agreement on Cooperation between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.


The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Belarus Razmik Humaryan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Alexander Konyuk also took part in the official event, which was held in the building of the Central Office of the State Forensic Examination Committee.

In accordance with the concluded Agreement, the experts of the two countries will cooperate in the field of scientific research on the problems of forensic expert activity, conduct joint development of methods and techniques, exchange experience of expert practice, have mutual internships and etc.

During the visit the guests got acquainted with the structure and main activities of the State Forensic Examination Committee, technical equipment and capabilities of research laboratories of drug and psychotropic substances, their precursors and analogues, gemological laboratory, spectral analysis laboratory, research laboratory of metals and alloys, gunshot residue, petroleum products, etc. The delegation also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the products of the “Belsudekspertobespechenie” subordinate organization to the State Committee, the educational programs of the Institute of Further Training and Retraining of the Personnel, the activities of the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Committee.

As a result of the visit, the sides exchanged views on the most relevant areas of cooperation.
