In the framework of the European Union project «MOST» on straightening of professional contacts between European Union and Belarus specialists, from August 25 to September 21, 2019, the internship at the Ecology Institute of Wildlife of the University of Veterinary Medicine of Vienna completed. In the internship took part the junior research assistant of the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus A. Grebenchuk.
In the framework of cooperation with the UN Office Regional Programme on Drugs and Crime for Afghanistan and Neighboring Countries, the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus conducted a training session «The laboratory analysis of prohibited psychoactive substances» for representatives of forensic institutions from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and Tajikistan. The event was held on September 2 -13 on the basis of the Central Office of the Committee.
Forensic experts from the Minsk City Directorate together with colleagues from other Directorates of the State Committee and the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Committee took part in the training course «Dactyloscopy and technical examination of documents», which was held at the Gujarat Forensic Science University of the Republic of India.
On August 27 the opening ceremony of the seminar organized by the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus took place at the Central Office of the State Forensic Examination Committee. The event was attended by staff members of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, as well as the Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Cui Qiming and the Military and Air Attaché Qu Huijiang. The seminar will last from August 27 to September 6.
The Syrian delegation is headed by the Division General Nasser Dib – the Director of the criminal security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic. During the meeting, representatives of two sides confirmed their focus on strengthening constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Syria in the field of forensic activity, and discussed key promising areas of cooperation. During the official meeting with the Chairman of the State Committee Major Genaral of Justice Andrei Shved, special attention was paid to carrying out joint activities to improve the professional knowledge of specialists in the field of forensic activity.
