The State Forensic Examination Committee has received 15 new drones this week. The new equipment appeared thanks to the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme «Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus 2014-2020». It is implemented within the framework of the European Neighbourhood Instrument, which is funded by the European Union. The main objective of the project is to increase security in the neighbouring countries the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Belarus and to increase the effectiveness of investigation in large areas.

The online conference was held within the framework of the cross-border cooperation program «Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus» in the State Committee 26 june 2020

Today the meeting of the participants of the project «New Forensic technologies for crime scene investigation and ensuring public security» ENI-LLB-2-265 – the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Lithuanian Police Forensic Science Center took place in the online conference mode.

Cooperation of the State Committee with the US Department of Energy in the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum 12 june 2020

The State Forensic Examination Committee joined the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding with the US Department of Energy. The document provides the development of cooperation in preventing illicit trafficking of nuclear and other radioactive materials, which was signed by the State Border Committee and the US Department of Energy on August 9, 2011.

Belarusian experts signed an Agreement on cooperation in the field of drug control 25 february 2020

Today the delegation of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), USA visited the central office of the State Forensic Examination Committee. The Acting Regional Director of the Middle East Region Michael P.Nowacoski and the Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee Andrei Shved signed an Agreement between the State Forensic Examination Committee and the US Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration. Officers of the US Embassy in the Republic of Belarus took part in the ceremony of signing the Memorandum.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Belarus visited the State Forensic Examination Committee 23 december 2019

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Belarus Tae Jun Youl visited the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus. Remind that in March of this year, a Memorandum of understanding was signed between the State Committee and the National Forensic Service of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea.
