The State Forensic Examination Committee continues to establish cooperation with the countries of near and far abroad, including the countries of the Persian Gulf.
The five-day official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of the Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State Committee ends today. This is the first visit of Bahraini colleagues to the Belorussian expert agency and the range of questions that foreign experts were interested in is very wide - familiarization with the activities of the State Committee, its structure, technical equipment, examinations carried out in the Committee, the methods and techniques used, the organization of criminalistics recording (forensic accounts), etc.
As part of the delegation arrived Major Yaser Alaraibi, the head of the dactyloscopy examination department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bahrain and Major Anas Alkhalaqi, the head of the crime scene examination department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bahrain, who met with the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee, Major General of Justice, Sergei Evmenenko and discussed possible perspective directions.
During the visit, the guests got acquainted in details with the expert capabilities, the instrument base and software of the departments of the State Committee, the organization of criminalistic records (forensic accounts), the experts’ crime scene examination. The delegation visited special examination laboratories, DNA research and forensic medical examination laboratories.
Following the visit, foreign colleagues expressed interest in taking internships on the basis of the State Committee, and also invited Belarusian experts to make a return visit in order to identify perspective directions for mutual exchange of experience. Preliminary agreements have been reached on the development of a draft agreement on cooperation in the field of forensic activities, the signing of which will allow to consolidate on a contractual basis the interaction of experts from Belarus and Bahrain.
