The State Committee was visited by a delegation of the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China headed by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the People’s Republic of China Gan Zangchun.

The Chinese delegation was acquainted with the activities of the State Committee, its goals and tasks, visited fire-technical and explosion examinations laboratories, drug and psychotropic substances research laboratories, their precursors and analogues, petroleum products research, materials, substances and items research, as well as ballistic examinations laboratories.

The foreign delegation highly appreciated the technical equipment and readiness of experts to solve the tasks assigned to the State Committee. The delegation was most interested in the organizational and legal aspects of the activities of the unified expert body of Belarus.

During the meeting, issues of establishing closer cooperation between the State Committee and the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China in the field of forensic activity were discussed, including the possibility of concluding an Agreement on cooperation. The Chinese delegation also invited Belarusian colleagues to pay a return visit to Beijing.
