The quality of modern training of professionals in the field of forensic expert activity largely depends on attention to topical issues of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process and innovations in the field of education and upbringing. Therefore the problems and prospects of education in modern society are always in the center of attention of the State Institution «Institution of Further Training and Retraining of the Personnel of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus».

The Head of the Department of Scientific and Methodological Support of Education and International Cooperation, Ph.D. in Education, Anna Ostrovskaya took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Psychology of giftedness and creativity» in order to study advanced pedagogical and psychological experience.

The conference was held on November, 5-6 on the basis of the State Autonomous Educational Institution of higher education in Moscow «Moscow City Pedagogical University» with the support of the Russian Foundation for basic research.

Within the framework of the conference, a plenary session was held on November, 5 where Igor Remorenko, doctor of pedagogical sciences, Rector of the State Autonomous Educational Institution of higher education in Moscow «Moscow City Pedagogical University» addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The moderators of the Conference were Alexander Savenkov, doctor of pedagogical sciences, doctor of psychological sciences, Professor, active member of the Academy of pedagogical and social sciences, corresponding member of RAE, Director of the Institute of pedagogy and psychology of education of the State Autonomous Educational Institution of higher education in Moscow «Moscow City Pedagogical University» and Vladimir Postavnev, Ph.D. in Psychology, associate professor, Head of the Department of Psychology of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Education of the State Autonomous Educational Institution of higher education in Moscow «Moscow City Pedagogical University». The conference was broadcast online and was supported by multimedia presentations.

Well-known scientists in the field of pedagogy, psychology, sociology, as well as officials and heads of educational institutions and scientific and research centers of the near and far abroad took part in the Conference. Representatives of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Bulgaria, Mongolia and other countries shared best practices and relevant data of innovative scientific research on the problems and contradictions of personal educational results, on the creation of productive social and psychological learning conditions, monitoring of pedagogical activities, the formation of intercultural competence of students, the design of educational programs, activation of non-cognitive factors of life success and other aspects, concerning the modern organization of the educational process.

On the second day of the Conference, on November 6, the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Education of the State Autonomous Educational Institution of higher education in Moscow «Moscow City Pedagogical University» organized sections and round tables devoted to the prospects of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process in educational institutions of various types.

At the breakout session «Non-cognitive factors in the development of intelligence and creativity» Anna Ostrovskaya made a report and presentation on the topic: «Research activities as a modern educational strategy for personal development», in which she presented developments based on pedagogical experience, including in the system of additional adult education.

During the Conference business and professionals contacts between participants were established. Within the framework of international cooperation, preliminary agreements were reached with educational institutions of near and far abroad on the exchange of information on events, as well as an internship of the teaching staff of the Institute on issues of psychological and pedagogical support of education, also on the basis of the Institute of pedagogy and psychology of education of the State Autonomous Educational Institution of higher education in Moscow «Moscow City Pedagogical University».
