The meeting of the Chairman of the State Committee Alexey Volkov with the Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan Azamat Eskaraev and the Minister of Justice of Belarus Sergey Homenko was held today in the State Forensic Examination Committee.

The delegation got acquainted with the work and material and technical facilities of laboratories of special and criminalistic examinations. The guests were especially interested in organization of the work of Belarusian experts in conducting examinations of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as monitoring the drug situation in the near and far abroad in order to take preventive measures to establish state control over newly emerging psychotropic substances.

During the visit the guests highly appreciated the level of professional training of Belarusian specialists and expressed interest in deepening cooperation in the field of forensic expert activity.


The meeting was held in the spirit of constructive dialogue, partnership and mutual understanding. Alexey Volkov noted that a trusting and mutually beneficial relationship has developed between the expert agencies of both countries. The participants of the event discussed issues of further development and strengthening of existing cooperation, exchange of experience in the field of forensic expert activity, outlined new goals and the most effective ways to achieve them.

For interaction with the State Committee in the field of forensic expert activity the Chairman of the State Committee Alexey Volkov presented the Badge of Merit of the State Committee bodies “For interaction” to Azamat Eskaraev and the Badge of Merit of the State Committee bodies “For excellent service” to Sergey Homenko.
