Working meetings with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan were held in the State Forensic Examination Committee from December 11 to 15.

Forensic experts of the General Directorate of Forensic Examination and the General Directorate of Technical Examination of the Central Office of the State Committee familiarized Uzbek specialists with forensic ballistic examination, forensic handwriting examination, forensic technical examination of documents, forensic computer and technical examination and forensic examination of radioelectronic devices and household electrical appliances.

Uzbek experts were particularly interested in the peculiarities of conducting a forensic examination of edged and throwing weapon, examination of handwriting objects on copies of documents, digital handwritten signatures, documents and their requisites, as well as the experience of keeping ballistic records. Within the visit forensic experts of both countries have discussed methodological and informational materials that they use when conducting examinations, software products and the most interesting complex expert tasks.At the end of the visit both sides expressed interest in deepening cooperation between the agencies and further exchange of experience and technologies for conducting forensic examinations.
