The working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by the Deputy Head of the Forensic Science Institute Pham Huu Tu Tam to the Republic of Belarus has ended.

Within the week the Vietnamese experts visited the practical departments of the State Committee. Foreign colleagues were particularly interested in the procedure for conducting forensic medical, ballistic and special examinations.

The activity of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belsudekspertobespechenie” also was under the focus of the Vietnamese delegation. The Director of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belsudekspertobespechenie” Maxim Mishchenko has given the guests detailed information about packaging materials for experts, cases “forensic examiner”, other products produced by the Enterprise and also has answered all the questions of Vietnamese colleagues.In addition, agreements between the State Committee and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam on the training of Vietnamese specialists at the State Educational Institution “Institute of Further Training and Retraining of the Personnel of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus” have been reached. During the visit the Vietnamese delegation had an opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the educational process and the material and technical base of classrooms.

The delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam also visited the city of Brest. The guests visited the main attraction of the city above the river Bug – the Brest Fortress. During the excursion the Vietnamese colleagues got acquainted with the history of the citadel and the tragic events during the Great Patriotic War.

The visitors were particularly interested in the museum exposition dedicated to the history of the defense of the Brest Fortress. The thematic exhibition allowed to plunge into the war years and to see the atmosphere of the first day of the Nazi invasion.The delegation took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame honoring the memory of all fallen defenders of the Motherland.

This visit was another step towards strengthening cooperation between the State Forensic Examination Committee and the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
