The delegation of the State Forensic Examination Committee is visiting the People’s Republic of China 15 december 2023

From December 15 to 26, 2023 the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China will hold a seminar on legal issues, including forensic expert activity, for representatives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing. The event is attended by representatives of ministries and agencies of the SCO member states, observer states (one of which is the Republic of Belarus) and SCO dialogue partners.

On behalf of the State Committee the Deputy Chairman Sergey Evmenenko takes part in the events. The Belarusian expert agency has close friendly relations with its Chinese colleagues. In 2018 Scientific and Practical Center of the State Committee and the Institute of Forensic Science under the Ministry of Public Security of China signed Memorandum on Cooperation and on September 13, 2022 the State Committee signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the sphere of forensic activity with the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China.
During the visit it is planned to get acquainted with Xi Jinping’s legal theory and the building of the rule of law, the national peculiarities of China’s legal culture, China’s judicial appraisal system and practice, as well as acquaintance with the work of the Institute for Forensic Science and Technology at the China University of Political Science and Law.
Today at the opening ceremony of the seminar the Deputy Chairman Sergey Evmenenko has had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Justice of China Wang Zhenjiang. During the meeting both sides have confirmed their intentions to further strengthen and develop interagency cooperation and also have discussed the most promising areas of interaction between experts from both countries.
