The meeting of the Chairman of the State Committee Alexey Volkov and the delegation of the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation headed by the Head of the Center, Lieutenant – General of Police Vadim Kazmin took place today. The meeting was held within the framework of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Examination: Theory and Practice in the Modern World” held in the State Committee.

Close fruitful cooperation has been established between the State Committee and the Forensic Center of the Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, which has been developing practically since the formation of the State Committee in 2013. Cooperation is being built in all areas of forensic expert activity, Belarussian and Russian experts have many topics to discuss and have something to share.
Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed and the main directions of further cooperation were outlined during the meeting, the delegation was familiarized with the main directions of the State Committee activity, equipment and technical facilities of laboratories of criminalistic and special examinations. The officers of the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation took an active part in the breakout sessions on various areas of activity, which were held within the framework of the Conference on April 27. The delegation also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activity of the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Committee.

For interaction with the State Committee in solving the tasks assigned to it, the Head of the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant – General of Police Vadim Kazmin was awarded the Badge of Merit of the State Committee bodies “For interaction”.
