Belarusian experts continue training foreign colleagues from the UAE 4 april 2019

The State Committee continues training of foreign specialists, implemented in the framework of the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of forensic activities between the expert Department of Belarus and the Abu Dhabi Police.

Currently, the State Committee simultaneously trains two groups of specialists from the Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police in the areas of forensic chemical and ballistic examination. Two more groups of foreign experts will arrive at the State Committee next week.

Training is held on the most modern equipment with the use of advanced methods of conducting forensic examinations. The peculiarity of knowledge transfer is the practical orientation of training. Trainees not only get theoretical knowledge, but also consolidate the learned material in practice.

The Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police plans to send 23 more specialists for training until August of this year. Foreign colleagues were interested in the experience of conducting in the State Forensic Examination Committee such areas as cold weapons examination, chemical, dactyloscopy, forensic medical examination, genetic and road examination.

In addition, training in the State Committee is in demand by a wide range of foreign specialists. In 2017, experts from Kazakhstan were trained in animal genetic examinations and portrait identification examination. Specialists from Serbia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Moldova and a number of other countries, with which the legal base has already been created, have also shown interest in training with Belarusian experts.

Increased attention of representatives of expert agencies of other countries to the united expert body of our Republic is primarily due to the high level of Belarusian experts’ training and the organization of forensic activities in general, which has been repeatedly emphasized by foreign delegations.
