Delegation of the Republic of Serbia visited the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus 22 September 2017 for the first time 22 september 2017

Serbian Delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Republic of Serbia – Minister of the Interior Affairs of the Republic of Serbia – Nebojŝa Stefaović visited the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the first time.

Serbian representatives expressed interest in well-organized forensic examination activity in the Republic of Belarus, reflecting the development of interstate dialog and realization of strategic partnership potential.

During the visit Serbian delegation familiarized with main direction of activities of the State Committee, using in the Republic of Belarus equipment and methodological approaches to examination. Representatives of the Republic of Serbia highly appreciated instruments and expert potential of the State Committee.

Parties shared opinions on promising and topical directions of cooperation in the forensic area and discussed capabilities of deepening and contractual shaping of mutual cooperation.

Serbian party commended experience of the State Committee in technical modernization and organization of carrying out of explosion, fire and genotypic examinations and maintenance of such databases. Also the issues of expert training were discussed on the meeting.

The head of delegation during the visit invited the Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus to familiarize with work of expert divisions of the Republic of Serbia. Delegation of Byelorussian forensic experts will visit these divisions upon the Serbian invitation for determination issue of signing an agreement on cooperation on the near future.

This meeting is new arms in development of cooperation between Republic of Belarus and Republic of Serbia in the forensics area that will enable experts of our states to share experience, research best practice and organize scientific and practice events.

By the way, the working experience of our unified expert agency attracts foreign colleagues. In this connection delegation from the State Forensic Service under the Government of Kyrgyz Republic is going to visit Central Office of the State Committee on 26-29 September 2017 in order to conclude an Agreement on cooperation and also delegation from the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Russian Federation is expected to arrive in October for signing the Agreement on cooperation.
