The State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police signed Memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of forensic activity 19 july 2017

The State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the General Headquarter of Abu Dhabi Police signed Memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of forensic activity.

Memorandum includes active cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and United Arab Emirates regarding the organization of training, scientific support of expert activity, data exchange on maintenance of criminalistic databases, mutual sharing of specialists for training and other issues.


Foreign guests expressed great interest in training specialists in the sphere of fire and explosion examination, expertise of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances at the State Committee and its Institute of Further Training and Retraining of the Personnel.

During the visit representatives of the Abu Dhabi Police familiarized with gun collection, DNA and different criminalistics databases of the State Committee. Also images of handprints via 3G were demonstrated to foreign guests and due to this method it is made possible to identify the suspects for an hour in Belarus. Abu Dhabi Police specialists visited laboratories of narcotic drugs examination, petroleum products, elemental analysis, molecular and spectral analysis with demonstration of functionality of high-tech equipment of the State Committee.

The Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the General Commander of Abu Dhabi Police discussed the issues of expert training in the Republic of Belarus and possibilities of training for Arab specialists at the State Committee and also functionality of criminalistic equipment which is produced by Belarusian enterprises, including RUE “Belsudexpertobespechenie” subordinated to the State Committee.

It is already the second visit to the State Committe; the first one was in February 2014. At that time delegation from the Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police headed by the Director of this Department Colonel Mohammed Al Hammadi arrived to the State Commeete. In July 2017 Abu Dhabi delegation visits the State Committee for the second time to establish legal status of achieved agreements.
